This is a standing spout doypack well intended for yoghourt 100gr, which is quite popular in the consumer market for kids and babies. The main body is set in pink and white colors, which attracts the kids and teenage girls and boys. We are supplying this doypack to our customer in a quantity of 3 million per month.

Foil Structure

This foil materials is a reinforced structure with excellent barrier and mechanical properties for yoghourt packages. The foil structure is PET12/AL7/PA15/LDPE, with graphic as below.

PET12, is one of the most common used printing substrates in flexible packaging pouches. With great clarity, stable mechanical strength and excellent printability, it is able to present the customer artwork print in great quality.

Al7, is short for aluminum foil metal sheet with thickness 7 microns, which is the most common used thickness in flexible packaging. It is of the best barrier performance among all the film materials, which can keep the orginal flavor and fragance for a prolonged time.

PA15, which is short for biaxially orientated polyamide film, with the most used thickness 15 microns (equals to 0.6 gauge). Usually people call it nylon film. It is of excellent mechanical strength, anti-puncture resistance and high barrier performance against oxygen. When it is applied into the foil laminate, usually the final package is achieved with reinforced mechanical strength.

LDPE film, means low density polyethylene film, which is the most used inner sealing layer for the yoghourt bag. It is able to provide enough sealing strength and airtight property for the final packages.

The final thickness for this foil laminate should be 120 microns, with tolerance +-5%. and the toughness of this foil will be enough to finalize good package profile for 100 grams of yoghourt products.

1 Great print quality

The artwork is achieved in gravure printing which can print up to maximum 10 colors. With advanced print techniques and print defects inspection system, we are now outputing fantastic print effect against the customers’ artwork.

Besides, this magic artwork is reversely printed on the inner side of PET film and then laminated to aluminum foil, which can keep the initial colors of the customer artwork in vivid effect.

2 Barrier Performance

The barrier performance of aluminum foil should be taken as the best among all the flexible packaging substrate films. When aluminum is trapped in this foil laminate, actually, the barrier performance is good enough to keep yoghourt product in a fine protection.

3 Wonderful Standing Profile

In this doypack, we choose aluminum foil with yield 70 grams, which is a stiff and tough materials for most packages. The final packages achieved with this foil laminate PET12/AL7/PA15/LDPE are usually with great standup straight effect. So, when the products are filled into this standup doypack, the package will be able to present good branding and sale purpose on the goods shelf.

4 High Mechanical Strength

In our daily QC work, there is an more easy and reliable method to check if the bag strength is enough to meet the various conditions in the operations of filling, transport, loading and unloading, distribution. We perform drop test against each order, of course, the standard for this drop test should be decided against customer needs.

Here, we are going to fill 100 grams of yoghourt into this aluminum foilr foil pouch, and perform drops for 3 times, and check if there is any breakage for the package.
