These alternatives have proven to be significantly more eco-friendly than traditional multi-layer packaging, which is often extremely difficult to recycle.
Home compostable film material packages
Our company has developed multi-layer foil stand-up pouches that are fully compostable in both home/garden and commercial composting environments.
For this trial, we will place the pouches directly into natural soil, where the composting process is expected to proceed more slowly. This is due to variables such as microbial activity, moisture content, and temperature, all of which significantly influence the decomposition rate.
We will carefully track the progress of the composting process over time and provide regular updates with our observations and results throughout the testing period.
Fully Recyclable Mono Materials
Compared with the high cost of compostable foil materials, actually fully recyclable material sachets and rolls are flooding the market for lightweight product packages in the market at much lower prices. Mono-material packages mean each layer of the multi-layer foil is made of the same resin, which can be easily processed in the human recycling system and reused for other applications. This recyclable materials sachet largely reduces the rate of plastic polymer film packages ending up in landfills.
